Best time to travel The cool season from November through February has more manageable temperatures and less rain, even if it is still hot to most visitors.
What to wearHow to dress depends on where one is. In the metropolitan areas conservative casual and smart casual attire is recommended but when visiting temples or mingling with hill tribes — cover up. Neat, clean clothing is considered respectful. Cope with the heat by wearing light, breathable natural fabrics.
