Climate	A temperate maritime climate with cool summers that can be rainy and humid, and mild winters. Being a small country there is little variation in climate apart from maritime influences being less, inland.
Transport	Belgium has an excellent and efficient public transport network, with an integrated train, tram, metro, and bus system.
Best time to travel	Peak tourist season is July and August, when the weather is at its finest, but Belgium is every bit as attractive during the shoulder months from mid-April to May and September to mid-October.
What to wear	As in most of Western Europe, there isn’t a dress code as such and anything smart casual in darker colours or black will help with blending in.
