EAA AirVenture Oshkosh
Whether flying in or driving to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, visitors quickly become aware that they are taking part in the world’s greatest aviation celebration: seven days of aerobatic displays, aviation history brought to life, music and fanfare. EAA AirVenture has grown like Jack’s proverbial beanstalk from its first show in 1953 with fewer than 150 visitors to now over 500,000 visitors who flock here each year.
Held in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, EAA AirVenture highlights include demonstrations by one of the most popular military aerial demonstration team in the world, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. Add to this anniversary celebrations from significant aircraft groups, mass personal aircraft arrivals from global enthusiast clubs and an impressive history display at the International Aerobatic Club’s pavilion. The club was founded in 1970 with the goal of promoting grassroots aerobatics.
With a reputation as being an expansive, all-inclusive aero-heaven for the aviation lover, EAA AirVenture is a big, impressive showcase that will keep fans entertained for hours.
