TransportTravel within Luxembourg is principally by road with buses, taxis, cars and bicycles as options. The rail service connects all major towns. There are also services along the River Moselle which forms the border with Germany.
Best time to travelLate spring May to June or early autumn September to October are probably the best times to visit, as the weather is still pleasant, the days long, and the visitors are yet to flood in or have already left.
What to wear Luxembourg can be quite hot during the summer, so light clothing is recommended. Spring and autumn are quite wet. Carry raincoats and umbrellas if visiting Luxembourg in the months of March and April.
